ShowerUp Huntsville
The Livin’ Room has an ongoing partnership with ShowerUp Huntsville with events taking place every Tuesday and on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month These events serve and honor our neighbors with free showers, haircuts, chiropractic care, and a meal.
2820 Church/Worship
We host a church service every Sunday morning beginning at 8:30am. Our doors are open to anyone and everyone in the neighborhood. Our Sunday church family is diverse and represents people across all walks of life. A large portion of our church family are those experiencing homelessness who live in the various homeless camps within walking distance of our facility. We also have doctors, lawyers, teachers and professionals who attend our worship.
We believe and know that Jesus loves us all and we are all equal- regardless of our earthly possessions.
It is an organic body of believers and non-believers coming together.

Neighborhood Meals
We provide food for neighborhood residents and the homeless and give us a chance to share a meal and commune with our neighbors. Regular meals are every 1st and 3rd Sunday for breakfast and every 2nd and 4th Sunday for lunch.
We serve ~150 people every Sunday.
On-Going Weekly Classes and Support Groups
Recent News
During the recent extreme winter weather, our facility has been transformed with cots into a safe haven, emergency Warming Center for the homeless.
We provided a warm place to sleep for 60 men and women in our neighborhood.
Guests were provided shelter, meals, showers and care from many of our partner non-profits, churches and gorups.
